This week at Nurture in Nature we celebrated the autumn equinox and the gifts of autumn.
We foraged for beautiful red Rowan berries and threaded them to make a necklace. Rowan is traditionally known for its protection and resilience properties.
For food this week, we baked delicious apples over the fire that were stuffed with fruit and nuts.
Our craft this time was to saw a piece of latch wood, which has beautiful growth rings, and fill a hole in it with a palm drill to make a pendant.
